At Chi Chi the Golf Venue, Menno Sound Studio designed and tuned a custom Fulcrum Acoustic installation for a restaurant environment that needed to perform across very different use cases.
The system was built around four GX1295 loudspeakers, six RX8 infill speakers and one SUB115 subwoofer. In addition, the installation was prepared with two input points and one breakout point, allowing additional subwoofers to be connected for larger parties, private events and small live performances.
One of the main challenges in this project was the floorplan itself. The venue includes multiple angles and listening positions, making it difficult to achieve even coverage across the full restaurant floor. That challenge was resolved to a very high standard, resulting in consistent, controlled performance throughout the space.
The installation was integrated cleanly and discreetly into the interior, while remaining robust, future-proof and ready for expansion. The full system was tuned and delay-aligned by Menno Sound Studio, with every decision carefully matched to the wishes of the client and the day-to-day reality of the venue.
The system was primarily designed around dining use, while still offering enough headroom and flexibility for concerts, private functions and more energetic event settings. This balance between refinement and scalability was central to the design.
Across the restaurant floor, the installation achieved a measured STIPA rating of A, reflecting a strong level of intelligibility and control across the venue. Combined with the clean integration and flexible system design, the result is a sound installation that supports both atmosphere and performance at a very high level.
